🕊️ With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Bishop Roger Blackburn. His dedication and service to the South Texas District have left an indelible mark on our hearts and community. As Presbyter of the Houston Metro East Section, he exemplified unwavering commitment and boundless love for his fellow believers.

Bro. Blackburn’s presence was a beacon of hope and his efforts touched countless lives. His departure leaves a void that words cannot express. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sis. Blackburn and the entire Blackburn family during this incredibly difficult time.

Though the pain of his loss weighs heavily upon us, we find solace in knowing that Bishop Blackburn is now free from suffering. He ran his race with grace and has received his eternal reward. Let us honor his memory by continuing to uphold the values he cherished and the mission he dedicated his life to. Rest peacefully, dear Bishop Blackburn. You will be deeply missed, yet forever remembered. 🙏
